The saddest item from our May 5th meeting was finding out that Stow lost one of its heroes this month. Second Lt. David Edward Rylander, 23, was killed in Logar Province, Afghanistan on May 2nd after his squad was targed by an IED. Also killed was Spc. Junot M. L. Cochilus, 34, of Charlotte, N.C.
